Days in A/R
How many days of charges are sitting unpaid?
Open question
Days in A/R has several common formulas (30, 90 or 180 day charge windows; gross or net charges). Version 2 uses 90 days of gross charges. Confirm which one the practice’s own athena report uses before the first real reconciliation.

- Why it changed
- Moved from a 30 day to a 90 day charge window. A 30 day window swung by several days whenever a month had a holiday week, which made the number look worse or better for reasons that had nothing to do with collections.
