What every number means
Metric definitions
Each number is a versioned definition: a formula in plain words, the athena report it must match, the filters, and how far apart the two may be before somebody has to explain it. Definitions are never edited in place. A change is a new version, and every run records the versions it used.
Days in A/R and aging

Open balance on each claim at close of business on the last day of the month, grouped by days since the date of service: 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 120, over 120.

No-show and cancellation rate
- No-show rateVersion 1
No-shows in the month divided by appointments that were either completed or no-shows.
Tolerance: up to 0.50 points either way. In force since Aug 2, 2025.
- Cancellation rateVersion 1
Appointments in the month cancelled for any reason other than a no-show, divided by all booked appointments in the month.
Tolerance: up to 0.50 points either way. In force since Aug 2, 2025.
